The in-FPGA ITCH Feed Handler Jumpstart Design provides a working design to jumpstart FPGA-based trading initiatives. As delivered, the feed handler accepts NASDAQ ITCH market data over 10 Gb Ethernet, maintains an order book, and generates top of book events internally every time the order book is affected. Outbound UDP/Syslog best-bid-or-offer responses are sent in response to top of book events. The design is extendable to implement order entry, for a full FPGA based trading system.
